Hallo Ihr Lieben,

ich melde mich nach langer Zeit wieder mit etwas Gebasteltem zurück und zwar für unsere Dezember-Challenge bei Crafty Calendar. Die steht nämlich unter dem Thema:

Cold and Frosty.

Was lag da näher als die süßen Schneemänner von Purple Onions einzuweihen. Coloriert habe ich mit Distress Inks. Für den Schnee habe ich Liquid Appliqe und Stickles verwendet. das seht Ihr unten auf dem Foto ganz gut.

This was a good time for me to use my new stamp from Purple Onions. I've colored the snowmens with Distress Ink and I've made the snow with Liquid Applique and Stickles.

Endlich wieder draußen.../At last outside again....

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

endlich bin ich wieder draußen, aus dem Krankenhaus nämlich, nach fast 2 Wochen!

Mir geht es zwar noch nicht wieder richtig gut, aber ich bin zumindest froh, dass ich mich zu Hause weiter auskurieren kann. Da weiß man doch Gesundheit erst richtig zu schätzen, vor allem weil es doch ein bißchen ernster bei mir war.

Vor zwei Wochen am Donnerstag ging es mir abends beim ins Bett gehen auf einmal wieder total schlecht, nachdem ich eigentlich eine Erkältung gerade auskuriert hatte. Die halbe Nacht lag ich mit Schüttelfrost und Kreislaufproblemen wach im Bett. Am Freitagmorgen bin ich dann erst mal zur Hausärztin. Die konnte aber nichts besonderes feststellen und hatte mir nur einen Hustenlöser und -stiller verschrieben. 

Nachdem ich dann den restlichen Freitag und auch am Samstag nur im Bett vor mich dahin vegetiert habe, was zu Essen hatte ich auch nicht runterbekommen und das will bei mir was heißen, entschlossen wir uns dann am Samstagnachmittag zum ärztlichen Notdienst zu fahren. Jeder der dort schon mal hin musste, weiß wie lange man dort warten muss. Das Ergebnis des Bluttestes konnten wir nicht mehr abwarten, da der Babysitter weg musste. Wieder zu Hause also angerufen und nach dem Ergebnis gefragt. Es hieß nur: Sofort ins Krankenhaus zum Röntgen! Meine Entzündungswerte waren unterirdisch schlecht (z.B. für die, die sich damit auskennen, CRP Wert war bei knapp unter 50, normal wäre bis zu 0,3!).

Im Krankenhaus wollten sie uns die Werte erst gar nicht glauben, da man in so einer Situation normalerweise nicht mehr gehen kann wie ich, geschweige denn noch Luft bekommt. Das habe ich wohl nur meiner vorher guten Konstitution zu verdanken, auch dass ich danach so schnell wieder auf die Beine gekommen bin.

Es stellte sich nämlich raus, dass ich eine beiderseitige schwere Lungenentzündung, einen Harnwegsinfekt und eine beginnende Sepsis hatte. Eine Sepsis würde im weiteren Verlauf zu einem multiplen Organversagen führen. Glück gehabt, kann ich da nur sagen, dass ich nicht bis Montag abgewartet habe, vielleicht hätte ich das sonst nicht mehr geschafft.

Nun ja, nach ein paar Tagen Intensivstation und anschließender "normaler" Abteilung bin ich jetzt endlich wieder da und habe hoffentlich auch bald wieder die Kraft zum Basteln. Das habe ich nämlich auch schon sehr vermisst. 

Mal schauen, wie lange ich noch Antibiotika einnehmen muss (auch noch 2 verschiedene), die haben nämlich inzwischen auch schon die bekannten Nebenwirkung. Am Montag muss ich nochmal ins Krankenhaus zum Blut abnehmen und Röntgen. Bin schon gespannt auf die Ergebnisse.

Hello dear ones,

at last I'm outside again, out of the hospital after almost two weeks.

I'm not feeling very well yet, but I'm glad to be back at home. 

Two weeks ago on Thursday evening, I felt as bad again although I've just recovered from a cold.

So I went to the doctor on Friday Morning but she only prescribed some antitussive medicine.

But as I'm not feeling very better at Saturday Afternoon (just laying in bed, not able to eat something) we went to the emergency medical service. The blood examination says the inflammatory factors were stronlgy encreased. So I've had to go directly into hospital for a X-ray. 

There they find out that I had a strong double pneumonia with a beginning sepsis and a urinary tract infection.
I've a lot of luck that I've a good constitution before and was just in time in the hospital otherwise the sepsis would have caused a multiple organ failure.

So after a few days in the intensive care unit and almost 2 weeks altogether in hospital I'm very happy to be outside again. I'm a little bit weakened now but I hope that I'm able to craft in the near future. Until then I've to take my antibiotics. And on Monday they make another blood examination and X-ray.

So, now I just want to show you the pic for the last challenge at Fairy Tale:

Da ich ja nur einen Halloween-Stempel besitze, ist es auch diesmal wieder Pumpkin Marci geworden. Koloriert habe ich mit den gleichen Prismas, wie beim letzten Mal. Diesmal habe ich allerdings noch Schwarz benutzt und die Farben mit Öl verblendet.

Pumpkin Marci - DT für Fairy Tale Challenge #77

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

heute ist wieder Freitag und somit beginnt eine neue Challenge bei Fairy Tale, diesmal mit dem Thema:

Kürbis, Pilz und Fledermaus.

Ihr müsst aber nicht alles davon auf Eurem Projekt unterbringen, eines reicht schon. Bei mir ist das klar ersichtlich der bzw. die Kürbisse. Das Motiv brauchte ich gar nicht großartig aussuchen, denn es ist tatsächlich bisher mein einziges zu dem Thema (unter das ich jetzt auch mal Halloween subsummiere). 

Koloriert habe ich mit Prismas, aber diesmal habe ich die Farbe nicht mit dem Papierwischer und Öl verwischt, sondern bin hinterher lediglich zum Fixieren mit dem Colourless Stift drübergegangen.

You have not to use all of them, but we want to see one of these items on your project. I've used some punched pumpkins on my card. And the stamp is the only one I have to fit this theme. 

I've coloured with Prismas but this time I've not blended the colour with oil. I've only fixed it with the colourless pencil after colouring.

Und das ist meine Umsetzung: das Runde ist der Brad in der Blüte, das Alte ist das Stempelset Reason to Smile und der Glitzerstein versteckt sich rechts neben dem Spruch.

Verwendet habe ich die Farben Rosenrot, Mittelblau und Granit.

DT für Fairy Tale Challenge #74

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

das Thema der Challenge bei Fairy Tale, die heute beginnt, lautet:

Geldbörsen und Portemonnaies.

Schwieriges Thema, wie ich finde, da es im www nicht allzuviele schöne Anleitungen hierzu gibt. Nachdem ich mir jedoch dann überlegt habe, für das "Kleingeldfach" die Stanze "Umschlag mit Zierlasche" von SU zu verwenden, ging der Rest wie von selbst. Die Größe des Portemonnaies habe ich dem Umschlag angepasst: ca. 9x7 cm. Sowohl bei der Umschlaglasche als auch beim Verschluß des Portemonnaies habe ich Magnete verwendet. Und da das ganze meine kleine Nichte zum Schulanfang bekommen soll, habe ich den CS savanne mit den Buchstaben aus dem SU-Set Confetti bestempelt.

Not an easy theme, I guess. I didn't found many tutorials in the www. But as I decided to take the BigZ Scallop Envelope from SU for the "loose money" the idea went on and on by itself. The size of the purse is matching the size of the envelope: approx. 9x7 cm. I've used magnets for the envelope and for the fastener of the purse. This is a gift for my little niece when she has her first day at school, so I've used the little letters from the SU stamp set "Confetti" for the background.

DT für Fairy Tale Challenge #72

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

heute lautet unsere neue Challenge bei Fairy Tale:

Weihnachten im Juli.

*Stöhn*, bei den Temperaturen heute war mir eigentlich gar nicht weihnachtlich zumute. Aber was soll's, mit den Weihnachtskarten kann man schließlich gar nicht früh genug anfangen, stimmts?

Wie manche von Euch sicherlich unschwer erkennen können, ist heute bei mir mal wieder alles SU. Als Farbkombination habe ich Espresso und Savanne gewählt. Der Hirsch (oder ist es ein Rentier?) ist in Espresso und die Kugeln und das Vögelchen in Gold embossed.

Es gibt natürlich auch diesmal etwas zu gewinnen. Außerdem freuen wir uns wie immer darauf, Eure Werke zu bewundern und Eure Blogs zu besuchen. Also, bitte mitmachen!

I don't have a christmas feeling today as it is sunny and hot, hot, hot here. But - you could never start to early with making christmas card, right?

So, I've again made a card from SU stuff. Colours are Early Espresso and Crumb Cake. I've heat embossed the deer in Early Espresso and the Christmas baubles and the little bird in gold.

My favorite colour is pink! And I really like the combinations of pink with brown - like this time.

Der Geburtstagskuchenbausatz ist nach der Anleitung von Miri D. gemacht. Ich hätte Euch jetzt natürlich auch gerne das schön dekorierte Innere gezeigt. Aber leider habe ich daran erst gedacht, als ich die Schachtel mit dem Band verschlossen hatte. Und da ich ein wenig länger für diese frickelige Schleife gebraucht habe, hatte ich dann keine Lust mehr, alles nochmal aufzumachen.

DT für Fairy Tale Challenge #70

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

für unsere neue Challenge bei Fairy Tale mit dem gaaaanz einfachen Thema:

Happy Birthday

habe ich eine Lego-Karte gezaubert. Eine ähnliche Karte habe ich hier gesehen und dann auf meine Art umgesetzt. Alle Ausstanzungen sind mit Savanne von SU gewischt, also wirklich jeder einzelne Kreis! Uff, das war ne Menge Arbeit, aber ich finde, dadurch wirken die "Bausteine" richtig schön plastisch. Dann habe ich noch mit einem weißen Gelstift Akzente gesetzt.

I've made this Lego-card for our new challenge at Fairy Tale with a veeeery simple theme:

Happy Birthday

I've seen a similar card here and then made my own interpretation. All punching outs are distressed with SU Savanne, really each circle! Lots of work, but I guess so these bricks are looking very three-dimensional. In addition I set a little highlight on each circle with a white gel pen.
